I have been under a bit of pressure to get our wedding date set (don't know why people are so impatient when it comes to some else's wedding). I could just leave it to our parents to decide, but then we will just end up having too many chiefs.

For the first time in my life, and to be in line with the tradition, I started to consult the chinese astrology and lunar calendar to pick the wedding date. Learning to read the lunar calendar really isn't as hard as it sounds. Once you know how to read the calendar, however, the real challenge is to pick a date that meets parents' expectation, a date that is safe from Melbourne's extreme weather, a date that is approved by the chinese astrology and, most important of all, a date that is a Saturday.

May be I will just put the calendar on a darting board and blindfold myself......

I wish I was the one who had to buy a wedding dress, not the poor guy who have to pick the wedding date.

Looks like the big secret is finally out!

Well, it has been out on vox for a while now but May and I just wanted to know how many people are there reading our blog. And I guess the answer is not too many as it took 6 days for most of our friends to find out what is going on.
