It's the time again. The time to get a new mobile phone.
My old mobile phone contract has finally expired. Now the question is: which mobile phone would I get?
Even months before the my contract expired, I had been researching for my next sexy phone. For months, I had my sight set right on the iPhone. I mean, with Apple's reputation, I knew that it was going to rock although I didn't even know what it would look like.
Finally, Apple ended all speculations 2 weeks ago by announcing the cool iPhone. I was so excited I suspended all my works and went straight to Apple's site to read about this new hot sexy babe during the business hour.
After half an hour and reading and researching, I was disappointed.
I was disappointed that it is not available until June in U.S. (and it means it won't be released in Australia within this year). I was disappointed that it is very, very expensive: $US599 for the 8G version (come on, it is a bit too much even for an iPhone). I was also disappointed that it can only be used with Cingular in the U.S. (at least for now), how am I going to use it in Australia?
I guess I will have to be more realistic and get a more realistic phone that has a more realistic price tag and uses a more realistic network.
Sony Ericsson's phones are not bad (in fact, I think they are very good in usability and look reasonably cool). Most of them look so good (except the Z-series), you just have to get it when you see one. Okay, it is not an apple, but what can I do when I can't even afford a TV in my apartment. Any donation, please? After considering all my options (there aren't many anyway), I have finally decide to get this:
